Lisle Park District offers a variety of year-round activities for people of all ages. The Lisle Museums and the Railway Station Park are pleased to offer this biannual series of events in a virtual format from their homes. Writing about regional history and culture is stimulating and informative, with an emphasis on the history of the Illinois State Museum and the Chicago region.

The three-day festival takes place every year in early January and changes venues every year, except for the last two years due to the weather. This year, the event will take place in the Peoria area, including Lake County Park, Illinois State Museum and Lisle Museum, as well as the Train Station Park.

Located in northwest Illinois, the museum is just one block from Bricks in the northern suburbs and suburbs, as well as the Illinois State Museum in Chicago and the Chicago Museum of Art.

This is Chicago's first and only STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) museum, whose headquarters are open and located near the intersection of Michigan and Illinois Streets in Chicago Park District, not far from the Illinois State Capitol.

The Barrington History Museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is operated by the Rock Island Historical Society.
