So I'm 30 and live in a place. I'm baffled why this site says I'm only an 89% match with myself. I work as a Data Analyst, but sometimes I wonder if it would be easier to just be a Datum Analyst. I sometimes work hard, but I don't even know what "play hard" means. I can't swim, but I'm certain I could drown if required. I make my bed everyday. I vacuum when I can. I think DVRs changed my life for the worse, but I'm certainly not giving them up. I own four pairs of shoes, but I really only wear one. My TV cost more than my first car did.

I like to think of myself as being fairly intelligent. If anything I have an uncommon ability to remember useless facts. I enjoy learning, teaching, and reading. This fall to winter activities will include roaring fires in my fireplace and morning walks before the snow covers the path.
I try to stay fit with by going to Pilates twice a week and sometimes swim classes, plus playing sand volleyball whenever I can. I can honestly say I kept up with those plans, I have done A LOT in the last year, but recently I had one of those eye opening experiences that really opened up my mind to the world around me. Lately I have been relaxing those goals and soaking it all up. I have been re-prioritizing my goals and it is amazing how something previously so insignificant when cast under a different light can become so life changing. If there was one thing I had to tell you about myself it is that despite all the sarcasm, poking fun, chain yanking, and good old shit giving that goes on between us my friends truly are the most important thing to me. I am what you would call an eclectic. I enjoy a wide range of different things. I was a big athlete back in the day and now I really enjoy working out and being active. I try to run 4-5 days a week, but not far. Running long distances has never been one of my strongest abilities. I try to watch sports (baseball and football) but I don't like being on the couch for long so I usually have to get up and do something else. I also love going to see the most recent movies. What I don't get to see in the theater, I usually end up renting. Big Netflix fan! I read alot, sometimes more than one book at a time. I suppose the defining feature of my life is my job; and that's kind of sad ;). I am a research associate at Northern Illinois University in the sciences, and yes that's just as nerdy as it sounds. But I've heard that nerd is in right now, so I don't worry much about it. I don't worry much about anything really; I'm very hard to disturb, and while I really don't ever cause any drama I don't mind listening to it a little. I enjoy reading, a little bit of television (mostly humor), most kinds of games, and just getting out to enjoy myself with a fun partner. In fact, that last part is why I'm here; I'd like to do that a little more often!

I am most passionate about games. Video, board, card, I love them all. I love playing them, I love creating them. I connect with people over them. I intend to make them my profession as well as my hobby.

My name is Brian. A little about myself well I love to have fun and some of the best things in life I think are the great outdoors. Iâ??ll try any thing once. Iâ??ve been scuba diving for almost my entire life and it is terrific, so terrific that once in a while I get the inclination to go diving in the middle of March so itâ??s off to the Quarry with a chainsaw to cut a hole and go diving. You never know what youâ??re going to see. One day I canâ??t see my hand in front of my mask and the next I can see 40 feet in any direction. Some of my other outdoors endeavors I enjoy are caving water skiing and boating among other things. For me nothing beats a cave. Itâ??s pitch black 24/7 the terrain is so alien you could be on Mars it took billions of years for this cave to grow and some of the formations are so WOW!!!! No work of art, skyscraper, roman castle, ruins on an ancient civilization or even the great wall of china can come close to the magnificence of these formations and the really amazing thing is it took place one drop of water at a time. A little more about myself, I am a shy person and it takes some time for me to open up to new people. I like animals, Iâ??m a dog person but I like cats too. I donâ??t smoke Iâ??m a night owl and one of my favorite movies is Caddy Shack. as much as I love the great outdoors I do love the great indoors just as much. sometimes nothing can beat staying in and watching a great movie. Who wants to be outside when it's pouring wet. I'm an easy going person and will pretty much go along with anything that seems like a good idea at the time. I have an active imagination and can come up with some of the most bizzrare plans and ideas of doing something and that means I can come up with some really great ideas too. I'm probaly the only person in the in the area who has made a two foot tall scale model of the sears tower and a tiny golden gate bridge as a Christmas present, welded it myself.. it's HEAVEY!!! The funny thing about those presents was I wanted them to be really screwy presents, so I made them out of screws. It takes awhile to get use to my sence of humor. Prop comedy is my favorite John candy was outstanding. My favorite Christmas time movie is Scrooged starring Bill Murray, I know it's not the classic tale but it cracks me up every year.

I drive a hand-me-down Buick Century. I don't own a Coach purse and probably never will. I absolutely love beer, cheese and brats, even if the result is not being a size 2! I'd rather listen to country music than hip-hop, but I've been known to and enjoy listening to both. Having 3 older brothers, I'm a fan of all sports!!! I was an avid tennis player, but haven't played in a while! Just bought my first set of golf clubs and am very much looking forward to hitting the links this summer! Also, one of my favorite places to spend a warm summer day is Wrigley Field and I LOVE the Cubbies! I just got back from Ireland and am completely in love with that country...the beautiful views, the great accents, and the variable weather (at least the summer weather...aka rain for 5 minutes, then rainbows!) I love where I live, I love who I am, I love the people in my life. I have a new job, which I am enjoying. I have always provided for and taken care of my family. I'm always the pragmatic optimist. Life is good.

Although I have not been all over, I love to travel. I get out to the city when I can for whatever adventures life might take me through. In all honesty though, usually its pretty lame, but that's ok. I could definitely use another partner in crime. Yes, that means YOU.

I am impulsive, and I love to just do things, whatever those may be. When I graduated college, I packed my car and drove most of the way across the country, only to get a job there after I showed up. Then I got promoted on my first day. I'm a bit of a dork and a nerd, but I am outgoing and friendly enough that you'd never be able to tell unless I told you. Wait.... I just ruined that one. Anyway, with that I do tend to enjoy video games, and obscure board games, and computers, and Mt. Dew... I think you get the idea. But I can only take so much of that, I couldn't be sane without outings and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Well, as sane as you'd label me in the first place.

I really dislike disrespect, violence, anger, and just general stupidity. However, it seems that most of those run rampant enough that their encounter is nearly unavoidable, so I will admit that I've just developed a lack of patience with them. Usually I am a tremendously patient man. But sometimes... you know how it goes. You just want to scream out, "Oh my god, you're an idiot!!"

I can have on occasion a ridiculous sense of humor. And by ridiculous I mean absolutely awesome - for example:
Preparing some corn on the cob that looks not so good at the end, I remark to my roommates, "This corn looks kind of funny. It's almost ear-y." *dramatic pause* "Wow, that was pretty corny"
I know, it's so bad that its beautiful.

I figure I should also mention at this point that I have a twin brother. We are identical, he's older, and we always got along wonderfully. In fact, him and I have never had a single fight or argument in our lives. He just finished his degree and recently moved into town as well. Funny how that worked out. Now we'll see if there is room enough in this town for the two of us.

I never really thought this would be so hard. But in reality how complex is the human experience. Hi there, thanks for visiting my profile. First I will admit that I am not one for writing something like this so I am going to cross my fingers that it comes out right (huh, sounds like a line dont it).

I am looking for someone who is also looking to start a relationship....wow, I used a word men are supposed to be scared of. Ha ha. In the past I have wasted too much time with women that play games and tell lies and generally are all about the drama, and if there isnt any they create it. That was my fault for letting it go on, I cant blame anyone else if I didnt call them on it. So with that in the past what Im looking for is the exact opposite, not into drama and just likes to have fun with whatever is going on.
